NIRVANA OUTPOST – LUXURY TEPEE ACCOMMODATION – T&Cs and FAQs


1. A 50% Deposit confirms and secures your booking, remaining 50% to reflect within our account before arrival
2. No refund for late arrivals/early departures, no refund if there is been a “no show”, No refund for last minute cancellations.
3. Cancellation Policy: 28 days or more before arrival – full deposit less 15% admin fee
15-27 days before arrival – 75% deposit retained
0-14 days before arrival – full deposit retained
4. Payments are either via eft or zapper. Purchases on the premises can also be cash. (NO credit card facilities)
5. Check in between 14h00 and 18h00 (please arrange for late check in) and check out is before 10h00 (late check out to be arranged in advance.)
6. The camp is self-catering and not serviced during your stay.
7. NO PETS ALLOWED – we are situated on an Alpaca farm in a Conservancy area and we have our own herd of Alpaca.
8. No smoking inside tepees or buildings or discarding cigarette butts on the ground
9. Bath Towels and linen are supplied, if you plan on swimming in the dam, please bring your own towels.

11. High chair and camping cot is available on request (no linen supplied)
12. You will be assigned a workstation in the fully kitted kitchen on your arrival. Please keep your food, dirty dishes etc. on your side to avoid conflict. Dish clothes and dish washing liquid is supplied. Stove is gas and water is also heated by gas.
13. Do not leave your personal belongings in the ablution facility unless you have the camp to yourselves. There are plug points in the ablution for hairdryers and electric razors and a baby changing table and bath. Hot water is gas heated.
14. Keep tepees and kitchen closed and do NOT leave food out or feed or encourage the monkeys.
15. Tepees have bedside lamps only. No plugs. It is advisable to bring your own power banks along to charge phones or do so in your vehicle. (We have installed USB ports in the tepees)
16. Please read hot tub instructions before using it and do not let it get below the minimum water level (it will melt)
17. Children are not to be left unsupervised (there is a hot tub with water, fire at the fire pit or braai area, there are scorpions and snakes in the brush)
18. Prior Arrangements can be made to help feed the Alpacas in the evenings.
19. There is a small dam on the farm away from the camp. Children are not allowed to go there unattended or swim unsupervised. No fishing allowed. Gates are to be closed properly.
20. Close the Orchard gate when you leave for the day and when you come in for the evening. You will be given a key for the main entrance gate. Please keep it locked. Opening and closing gates is part of the farm experience.
21. It is advisable to pack warm clothes, rain gear, a torch, Allergex if you are allergic to fresh air, takkies, fire lighters, matches, you will receive a complimentary Midlands Meander Guide so that you can plan your day trips and activities
22. Our water comes from a crystal clear spring and is limited. Please do not waste water. If you are sensitive to a change of water, bring along your own bottled water.
23. (Our Chopper tents were damaged in the recent snow storm and are.currently unavailable.)

Chopper Tent guests have full use of facilities, mattresses can be arranged but you have to SUPPLY YOUR OWN TOWELS AND LINEN. No power to the chopper tents. Bring a torch.
24. Campers and Camper vans have full use of facilities.
25. VEHICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE PARKED IN THE CAMP AREA. (French drains/muddy soil/children/ancestral graves)
26. NO FIREWORKS. NO LOUD MUSIC OR NOISE. RESPECT THE OTHER CAMPERS IN THE VILLAGE.
27. PLEASE READ DISCLAIMERS ON GATES.
28. Payment is considered a confirmation of your booking and means you agree to the above terms and conditions.
29. ENJOY YOUR STAY!

30. Excess cleaning, losses, damages and breakages must be reported and will be billed to the person making the booking.

P.S. There are rumours of an Orchard Ogre lurking in the old orchard late at night.
